   Qualifications for ICOR Instructional Personnel Return to courses  

BCM Discipline
Includes the following instructor led courses:

  • BCM 4000
  • BCM 4050
  • BCM 5000
  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in the discipline of business continuity as an employee or consultant
  2. Bachelor's degree strongly recommended
  3. Experience includes BC program development, implementation, management, and BCMS auditing (using standards and/or the Business Continuity Maturity Model)
  4. Understanding of the published BC standards
  5. BC Certification by BCI, DRII, or ICOR
  6. Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills (able to effectively correspond to students from a variety of backgrounds)
  7. Completion of the ICOR Train-the-Trainer or the equivalent
  8. Successfully completed the course or developed the course

CMC Discipline
Includes the following instructor led courses:

  • CMC 2050
  • CMC 3030
  • CMC 4030
  • CMC 5000
  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in the discipline of crisis management & communications as an employee or consultant
  2. Bachelor's degree strongly recommended
  3. Experience includes crisis management team leadership, crisis communications, and plan writing of the crisis management and communication plan
  4. Understanding of the published CMC standards or other standards that address crisis management and communications
  5. Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills (able to effectively correspond to students from a variety of backgrounds)
  6. Completion of the ICOR Train-the-Trainer or the equivalent
  7. Successfully completed the course or developed the course

Facility Management / Technology Infrastructure Disciplines
Includes the following instructor led courses:

  • TIFM 1000
  • TIFM 2000
  • TIFM 3000
  • TIFM 4000
  • TIFM 5000
  • TIFM 6000
  • TIFMARM 7000
  1. Minimum 5 years of experience working in a data center or as a data center consultant
  2. Bachelor's degree strongly recommended
  3. Experience and expertise includes one or more of the following:
    • Designing and building of data centers
    • Managing data centers
    • Data center audits (health checks)
  4. Understanding of the published standards related to data centers
  5. Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills (able to effectively correspond to students from a variety of backgrounds)
  6. Completion of the ICOR Train-the-Trainer or the equivalent
  7. Successfully completed the course or developed the course

Supply Chain Risk Management Discipline
Includes the following instructor led courses:

  • SCRM 2000
  1. Minimum 5 years of direct supply chain experience either as a practitioner or in direct supply chain consulting services
  2. Bachelor's degree required with a recommendation of a Master's degree with a Business or Technical orientation
  3. Well versed on current supply chain risk related topics as published in a variety of business and supply chain industry publications.
  4. Understanding of the published standards related to supply chain risk management
  5. Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills (able to effectively correspond to students from a variety of backgrounds)
  6. Completion of the ICOR Train-the-Trainer or the equivalent
  7. Successfully completed the course or developed the course
