Michael Fagel, Ph.D., CEM, has had a remarkable career in emergency management—a career that has spanned more than 32 years and has taken him from serving as a volunteer with the Aurora Illinois Civil Defense Agency during the Cold War to ground zero following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
