The Certification/Credentialing Committee’s mission is to provide ICOR with a credentialing strategy that is integrated with career-pathing alternatives for its members. It is the responsibility of this committee to review existing credentialing programs of associations supporting organizational resilience, determine their value within ICOR’s program, and develop a process for mapping outside credentials to ICOR’s program. This committee will also set standards for reviewing member experience, education and credentials to determine appropriate status. top |
The mission of the Current Events/Speakers Bureau Committee is to keep ICOR appraised of world events that impact and influence organizational resilience and to develop a network of qualified speakers who can deliver this information to a variety of audiences. This committee will offer advice on positions, strategies and programs that will allow ICOR and its constituency to anticipate and adjust to trends that can permanently impair the earning power of their organizations. The committee will maintain relationships with groups representing all facets of business, government, volunteer organizations, and educational institutions the can provide information on current events as well as speakers. top |
The Education Committee provides guidance on the professional development needs of its members and the members of affiliate organizations. This committee is responsible for identifying educational needs in the marketplace, developing a strategy for delivering education, and overseeing the development, delivery and evaluation of ICOR’s education program. The Education Committee also acts as an information resource for members. |
The Marketing Committee directs the development of a strategic plan communicating the value of ICOR resources and services to various stakeholder groups. These include senior leadership of organizations, existing certified and non-certified professional active in the workplace, ICOR members, and students attending post-secondary institutions, corporate sponsors, affiliates, partners, universities, and potential sources that affect the organizational resilience profession. |
The Membership Committee identifies target groups for potential ICOR membership, helps develop membership recruitment and retention programs, develops and recommends membership policies, periodically reviews members’ trends and studies of why companies join or terminate membership. |
The Research Committee assists ICOR in collecting data, utilizing a variety of tools and resources to identify trends and evaluate research. It also provides an industry perspective on research and analysis conducted by ICOR as well as other professional organizations. top |
The Strategic Planning Committee analyzes the current state of the field of organizational resilience, studies trends and research, analyzes gaps and strengths in this marketplace, and recommends to the Board how to meet those needs. The Council elects individuals to serve on the steering committee. |
The focus of the Universities Committee is to establish and maintain relationships with colleges and universities for the delivery of ICOR course materials. In addition, members of this committee would solicit relationships with adjunct professors or industry specialists to deliver ICOR course materials to these colleges and universities. |
The Vendor Programs Committee analyzes vendors who support the needs of organizations in one or more ICOR discipline. Members of this committee make recommendations on vendors that ICOR membership may want to consider to meet the needs of their organization. top |
