DRII Qualifying Exam Review Course - CSILBCM3030
The DRII Qualifying Exam Review prepares business continuity personnel to take the DRI Qualifying Exam. It is intended for participants who have experience in business continuity planning and who are interested in becoming certified by DRI International as business continuity professionals. All course participants who pass the DRI Qualifying Exam and become certified as a CBCP by DRI International will also earn certification as an ICOR Certified Organizational Resilience Specialist (CORS). ICOR is a separate entity to DRII. Only DRII offers the Qualifying Exam.

Essentials of Business Continuity Management - Complete Course - CSILBCM2000
Essentials of Business Continuity Management is an instructor-led ten-day course that provides the foundation necessary for new or current business continuity professionals who are at the introductory level of experience. It is designed to expose the participant to all aspects of a holistic BCM program and to be a solid “how to” guide for building a business continuity program for all types of organizations. Essentials of Business Continuity Management concludes with a review for the DRI Qualifying Exam. Successful completion of this course completes the educational component for certification as an ICOR Certified Organizational Resilience Professional (CORP). In addition, it prepares the participant for the DRII Qualifying Exam necessary for certification as a business continuity planner from DRI International and contributes to the educational component necessary for certification by the Business Continuity Institute (BCI).

Module 1: Understanding Your Organization - CSILBCM2010
To be able to develop an appropriate Business Continuity Management program you must first understand your organization and what activities or processes are essential to ensure continuity of business critical activity to at least a minimum level. BCM must be owned and fully integrated into the organization as an embedded management process. Understanding Your Organization takes a close look at the major elements or the cornerstone of developing a business continuity program for your organization including the Business Impact Analysis and the Risk Assessment. This two-day instructor-led course is the first in a series of five that make up Essentials of Business Continuity Management.


Module 2:  BCM Strategy Development - CSILBCM2020
BCM Strategy Development is a one-day instructor-led course and the second in a series of five that make up Essentials of Business Continuity Management. It introduces the attendee to the challenges of selecting the appropriate strategies for the recovery of business processes, critical functions, operations and the supporting information technologies within the specified recovery time objective. It defines alternative strategies, assesses the strengths and weaknesses of strategies and methodologies for presentation to management. BCM Strategy Development reviews the three main categories for BCM strategy development: organization-wide strategies, process level strategies, and resource recovery strategies.

Module 3:  Developing a BCM Response
- CSILBCM2030
Developing a BCM Response is a five-day instructor-led course and the third in a series of five that make up Essentials of Business Continuity Management. This course focuses on plan development, identifying the essential components of Incident Management Plans, Crisis Management Plans, Business Continuity Plans, and Business Unit Recovery Plans. The aim of the various plan(s) covered in this stage is to identify, as far as possible, the actions that are necessary and the resources which are needed to enable the organization to manage an interruption whatever its cause.

Module 4:  Developing a BCM Culture - CSILBCM2040
Developing a BCM Culture is a one-day instructor-led course and the fourth in a series of five that make up Essentials of Business Continuity Management. The successful establishment of a BCM culture within an organization is dependent upon its integration with the organization's strategic and day-to-day management and alignment with its business priorities. Developing a BCM Culture will show you how to develop an organizational awareness and training campaign for your organization.

Module 5: Exercising, Maintaining, and Auditing the Plan - CSILBCM2050
Exercising, Maintaining, and Auditing the plan is a one-day instructor-led course and the fifth in a series of five that make up Essentials of Business Continuity Management. A business continuity management program is not complete without its having been exercised by its people and maintained to keep it up-to-date and executable. Exercising, Maintaining, and Auditing the Plan explores testing, exercising, maintaining, and auditing the plan to ensure a business continuity capability.

BCM Program Development - CSILBCM2011
BCM Program Development is a half-day instructor-led workshop that provides an overview of the business continuity management program development process with a focus on gaining executive support as demonstrated by policy development. It will also include a review of the regulations that drive much of BCM program development as well as project management strategies related to business continuity planning.

The Business Impact Analysis - CSILBCM2012
The Business Impact Analysis is a one-day instructor-led workshop that introduces the reasons for and value of conducting a Business
Impact Analysis. Attendees will understand methodologies, terms and definitions such as Mission Critical business processes, Recovery
Time Objectives (RTO), and Acceptable Exposure to Loss in order to understand the BIA process for their organization. The Business

The Risk Assessment is a one-day instructor-led workshop that focuses on the second element of data gathering – the Risk Assessment.
This workshop introduces the basic concepts of Risk Management and develops familiarity with the methodologies and models used in the
Business Continuity Management profession, by providing an understanding of what a risk assessment is all about, why a risk assessment
