DRI International Qualifying Exam Review Course
The DRII Qualifying Exam Review prepares business continuity personnel to take the DRI Qualifying Exam. It is intended for participants who have experience in business continuity planning and who are interested in becoming certified by DRI International as business continuity professionals. All course participants who pass the DRI Qualifying Exam and become certified as a CBCP by DRI International will also earn certification as an ICOR Certified Organizational Resilience Specialist (CORS). ICOR is a separate entity to DRII. Only DRII offers the Qualifying Exam.

Essentials of Business Continuity Management
Essentials of Business Continuity Management is a self-study course that provides the foundation necessary for new or current business continuity professionals who are at the introductory level of experience. It is designed to expose the participant to all aspects of a holistic BCM program and to be a solid “how to” guide for building a business continuity program for all types of organizations. Essentials of Business Continuity Management concludes with a review for the DRI Qualifying Exam. Successful completion of this course completes the educational component for certification as an ICOR Certified Organizational Resilience Professional (CORP). In addition, it prepares the participant for the DRII Qualifying Exam necessary for certification as a business continuity planner from DRI International and contributes to the educational component necessary for certification by the Business Continuity Institute (BCI).

Development


Module 2: BCM Strategy Development is a self-study course and the second in a series of five that make up Essentials of Business Continuity Management. It introduces the attendee to the challenges of selecting the appropriate strategies for the recovery of business processes, critical functions, operations and the supporting information technologies within the specified recovery time objective. It defines alternative strategies, assesses the strengths and weaknesses of strategies and methodologies for presentation to management.
